Getting better I think. slightly jibbed on the very last exercise mssing out about 30 seconds of it, but apart from that probably at 85-90% all the way. After a 20 mile bike ride today and a healthy diet, feel like I've accomplished  something. Knackered now though.

Day 10: Plyometric Cardio Circuit

Wednesday July 15th

7:30pm. Again another late one and after a meal at 6:pm. Found it tough going. Completed all, but ski jumps were very hard on last round. Felt sick afterwards but probably due to meal and the fact I was feeling a bit off tonight anyway with stomach ache. Anyway, good performance and effort..and completed it so alls good. Looking forward to Recovery exercises tomorrow. Performance 9/10   Effort 8.5/10.

Day 14: Cardio power & Resistance

Sunday 19th July 2015

8:00pm session (before food)

After Staff do weekend taking two days rest instead of one, felt I would definitely struggle today. I did the cardio resistance instead of my rest day to try to catch up as I'm one day behind. Suprsingly though peformance and effort were the best so far and I felt I was keeping up with the group. Kept up with Shaun T all the way apart from  slower on the moving push ups. Completed all exercises to virtually maxing out level. Feel gooood baby!!! Performance: 9.5  Effort: 9.

Really couldn't be bothered doing it today, but glad I did. Completed all exercises to virtually max. had a ten second break on last lot of ski abs, but apart from that kept up with class on dvd. Day 17: Cardio Recovery

Wednesday 22 July 2015

Good session.

No Alcohol Day

Day 18: Pure Cardio

Thursday 23 July 2015

6pm before meal.

Found tough, but completed all exercises. Had slight stomach ache before starting so did well really.

Pure Cardio is hard but plyometrics is probably hardest. Starting to feel more toned though and fitter. Played football with the boys and felt stamina and speed is coming on too. Keeping pretty much to a good diet. Porridge morning,  cereal bars at 11am, no carbs for lunch and a protein based meal (no bread or potatoes for tea). Porridge for supper. No alchohol during week days. Trying to keep to red wine on Friday and Saturday. Effort: 8.5, Performance 8.5.

Effort 9.5  Performance 10.  Cardio abs was a bit tough in places though straight after main session. 1 hour today!! Too much red wine at night as its Friday treat night. Eat too much indian.. Achohol night Need to dig deeper for tomorrow

Day 20: Plyometrics Circuit

Saturday 25th July 2015

7pm start before a meal.

Was tired before I set off, but did quite well really..so happy overall. Probably at maximum level until last set with ski abs etc... but still completed all sessions. I would say I'm not far off Tanya in terms of speed. Now faster than most of others...Tanya is the target now. Form over speed though!!

Heart rate: 68 before. 144 after warm up. Didn't check at the end.

Effort: 9

Performance: 9

1 small glass of red wine tonight and thats my lot! :-(

Diet good during day. But couldn't resist the beefburger at Shireburn at night and a pint.

Day 22: Pure Cardio and Cardio Abs

Monday 27th July 2015

1:30pm. In between meals. Found this pure cardio ok today, so must be getting better. six pack starting to be visible!! Yipee! Healthy diet...but sandwich for lunch :-( No Alchohol day.

Day: 38 MAX Cardio

Thursday 13th August 2015

O my god! Mucho Harder than month 1, but managed it all. All 59 mins. Felt absolutely knackered afterwards. but a good sense of achievement. Month 1 was a lot easier. Hope I can keep this level up! Effort 9/10. Performance 8/10.

Day: 37 MAX Interval Plyometrics

Friday 14th August 2015

Gone back to day 37 to get back in sync after flight back from holiday.  Really really megga Bananas!!! I had to pasue for the first time since starting insanity. 55 mins, but had to pause after 35 mins to catch my breath. Struggled today performance wise. Started well.

Day: 38: MAX Cardio Conditioning

Saturday 15th August 2015

Max Cardio was tough, but not quite as bad as previous two. Firstly it is shorter at about 47 mins which helps. Found that I could complete this giving 100% effort onto the whole set of sessions. Good feeling of acomplishment at the end. I think energy levels, sleep and time of day do help a lot prior to doing these. Anyway, I think that this week was a shock to the system being longer and harder sessions, but will hopefully get used to it ny next week. Talking to Ben at bar made me realise everyone struggles in week 1 month 2. Effort 10: Performance 9.                       2 glasses of wine tonight (red)

Day: 39: MAX RECOVERY DAY

Monday 17th August 2015

Not sure where they get Recovery Day from this was a burner. Not in the cardio but the balances were really hard. Completed all but last 5 mins when the DVD froze. Virtually an hour hour though, so not the session to look forward to like in meonth one. Still tough!! No alchohol Day

Day 40: Max interval Circuit

Tuesday 18th August 2015

59 mins of agony! But definitely did better than the first time I did this. Did this session later but still bid very well. Trying not to keep looking at the clock as it seems worse. Trying to break down each one and cocnentrate more on giving about 95-100% on each exercise. Looked at Tracy Kiss and as she says it destroyed her on the first few lots of sessions. Trying harder now to keep portion control with diet and cutting down alchohol even further .

Day 41: Max Interval Plyo

Wednesday 19th 2015

55 mins of torutre but feel like I am turning a corner and getting fitter. Still unbelievably hard, but got through it all. Just had to change the last set of power jumps to an alternative because my legs just wouldn't jump today at that point. Managed first 2 sets but last set they were gone! Did better that Tania on many of them though, so feel like I'm getting there. Diet is also doing well. No alchohol day.

Day 42: REST Day

Thursday 20th August 2015

Day 43: Max Cardio Conditioning

Friday 21st August 2015

47 ins. I do find this session easier than the plyo and cardio, but still rock hard. Pressup up jumping jacks are easier than the power type jumps, esepcially on the last sets. Diet and limited alcohol as having a definite effect on results. Feel fitter, sharper and more toned.  Tough session tomorrow though. Performane 8.5/10, Effort 9.5/10.

Day 44: Max Cardio Conditioning (Repeat)

Saturday 22nd August 2015

Had to repeat the 48 mins from yesterday to the the MAX body conditioning, since feeling lacking in energy today and very tired from late night. Didn

't feel I had the 59 mins cardio in me today. Pleased with performance and effort though and still found this session very very tough! 1 red wine tonight!! Yipee!

Day 45: MAX Plyo Circuit

Sunday 23 August 2015

Having repeated the conditioning yesterday, I'm hoping for a good performance today. Good healthy diet today so fingers crossed!!!

Completed the Ply circuit in full. Gave maximum effort 10/10 and good performance 9/10.

Feel dizzy now so going to have a light snack and some fruit.

Recovery day tomorrow after three days of difficult sessions, but from what I remember from last week recovery is still rock hard.

Feel fitter though. Dig deeper!

1 glass of red wine tonight.

Day 46: MAX Recovery day

Monday 24th August 2015

Day: 47: MAX Cardio Conditioning

Wednesday 26th August 2015

48 Mins of hell! Why do I do this??

Feeling shaky after this workout session, but felt that I did pretty good. Only exercise I found extreme today was the Diamond jumps towards the end, but apart from that completed all exercises at vrtually 90-95% effort. Even the diamonds completed virtually all jumps. I think its the timing of the jumps I find hard. Anyway will do the Insane Abs and the Balance session tomorrow as planned. Yesterday I jibbed, because we had gusest round, but had a busy day building the shed in the garden so at least I was doing a physical job. Effort 9/10. Performance 8.5/10. Curry tonight.

Day 48: Core Cardio and Balance

Friday 28th August 2015

Found this easy but really enjoyed this.

form 10/10,   performance 10/10, effort 10/10. Good session for coordination and balance, strength power etc...

Day 49: Rest Day

Saturday 29th August 2015

Didn't feel too good today with a strange feeling in myn heart area, like cramping. could be nothing. Anyway its a rest day soo no probs! Glass of red wine! and Burger King at trafford centre :-(

Day 50!!! FIT TEST

Saturday 29th August

8pm: 1 hour after food. Great Test results so must be getting fitter! Some results have doubled! :-)

Day 51: MAX Plyometrics Cardio Circuit

Sunday 30 August 2015

57 mins of tough exercise. Did this session at 9:30pm, not recommended as I already felt shattered after working on the garden shed all day. Good sense of achievement though. One glass of wine as its Emma's birthday today.

Effort: 8/10

Form 10/10

Perfromance:8/10.

Day 52: MAX Conditioning

Monday 31st August 2015

Will I ever find any of these easier?

48 mins for conditioning session which is slightly easier, but I still found it very tough and had to force myself to keep up with Tania. I'm finding that I'm faster and better than some in the group, but not quite as fast as Tania.

Effort: 9/10

Form: 10/10

Performance: 8.5/10

Maybe one glass of red wine tonight??

Day 53: MAX Recovery

Tuesday 1st September 2015

Enjoyed this Max Recovery better than the last time I did this. Felt like I knew what was coming so was better prepared. Its the length of time you have to hold the hip flexors with the complicated twists thingys thats really tough. Overall though, pleased. Diet ok today, porridge for breakfast with blueberries, fresh veg soup for lunch and Kays fab Carribean Chicken for tea. I've also gone on to decaf coffee to cut down on Cafeine- A good move. Plenty of water and nuts.

Form: 9/10

Effort: 9/10

Performance: 9/10.

Good day!

Day 54: Max Cardio Circuit

Wednesday 2nd September 2105

Effort 10/10

Performance 10/10!!!!!

No alchohol today as well...

Day 55: Cardio Abs + Core Balance

Thursday 3rd September 2015

Did the Cardio Abs in the morning. Enjoyed the good work on the abs, which are coming on. Core balnace was quite easy, so must be getting fitter. I like the core balance though as you really feel the balances and stretches keep you supple.

Day 56: Max Body Conditioning

Friday 4th September 2015

Should have been a rest day, but did the Max Body Conditioning instead. Trying to keep up the momentum. Form 10/10, Effort 9/10, Performance 9/10. Had 3 glasses of red wine though at nigh. Healthy diet during the day though so could afford it!

Day 57: Rest day

5th September 2015

Did cardio abs for 16 mins despite being rest day.

Day 58: 21.5 mile cycle

Sunday 6th September 2015

Did the guild wheel with Kay. Didn't get back until late so doing day 58 tomorrow.

Day 59: Max Plyo cardio circuit

Found this 55 minute session difficult, especially after the long bike ride yesterday adn first day back at work. Eaten pretty healthily today. Porridge, fruit, cereal bar, nuts, soup and a tuna wrap. Curry for tea. No alchohol!

Workout was tough on the first set of exercises withe the power jumps but tended to get better as I worked more on the upper body later. The level drills are no problem as I dug deep! :-)

Performance 8/10

Form 9/10

Effort 8/10.

Overall happy I completed it as I was knackered before I started. See ya tomorrow!

Day 70: Insane abs

33 mins

Average HR: 116

Peak: 163

Calories: 215

I suppose I'm experimenting this week with the different options for doing round 2.

I think instead of a recovery session on a Thursday I'm going to do an Insane Abs and medium weights. SO basically having a lower intensity work out instead of a recovery day.

This session is strong on the abs, but feeling it in my back so need to adjust position next week.

Don't feel shattered after this which is good. Liking the MAX conditioning, Sports intervals and the MAX Plyo. Perhaps taking the rest on Monday or maybe do the cardio abs just to keep them developing. I'll see at the weekend. Staff Insanity tomorrow! ha!
