Had a really good experience visiting the Grand Mosque in Abu Dhabi, but what a journey getting back. The taxi got lost and as a result we ended up in Jebel Ali (not a place you want to get lost in!). Kay lost her phone but the the taxi driver kindly drove 2 hours to return it back to us. Apart from that enjoyed Abu Dhabi, but it doesn't give anything extra to Dubai.

After getting off to a difficult start this year with being in hospital for 7 weeks, finally starting to get properly back into shape. Finished week 4, and will continue next week instead of taking recovery week. Wanting to complete round 4 so that by January / February will be ready for MAX 30. Trying to get the Fitbit sessions in between.

Kay and I traveled to Dubai via Emirates Airlines. Dubai is unbelievable and is one of the most fascinating places we've ever been to. 35 degrees each day, with such amazing views. Met our friends in Dubai MT, Anne and Angie. Desert safari, speed boating, beach days, Burj Khalifa, Dubai Mall and Burj Al Arab were all squeezed in to a brilliant week! Thanks MT for the advice!

We loved Wind of Lara so much in May, we had to return. Met some nice people too including Sefra and Daria.

Second holiday to Sherwood Breeze with the boys. Had a lovely two weeks in hot sunshine. The boys met Jack from London. Still keeping in touch now via their Xbox. We went on the water banana boat, speed boat, beach hut and had nice meals in the Italian restaurant. Lara Beach is a beautiful place. Coming back soon!

Worse experience of my life. Went into hospital for a routine kindney stone operation, but contracted a really rare infection called ESBL. Seven weeks later the antibiotics kicked in so felt much better. The infection has killed off my nerve in my shoulder though so now need physio! Trying to get back into training as soon as I can but will have to be patient. Not good at that!
